Allerton Gardens in Lawai Valley, on E. side of Lawai Stream, in "cutting garden" with many gingers, heliconias, etc.
Plant Description:
Rhizomatous perennial, pseudostems 3-4 m, lvs. distichous, plain green. Infl. basal, erect, 1.3 m, scape green, bracts waxy, deep pink, margins whitish. Flr. labellum red with yellow margin. Cultivated, unaccessioned, hort. origin.
