Plant Description:
Rhizomatous aromatic perennial herb, pseudostems 6-7 m tall, leaves distichous, 14-17/side. Infl. basal, 1.5 m, bracts pink, corolla red, lip margin yellow, rank odor. Fruits pink, seeds black w white, sour aril. Cult., unaccessioned.
