Plant Description:
Herb to 40cm tall; bracts red; flowers white. N.V. "Orangen pele [Pohnpeian]."
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Inflorescences: Stimulates hair growth of women. Mix juice squeezed from inflorescence with other chopped leaf (#3834 Ipomoea sp = Likehdeu) and put on women's head, rub in with towel, keep wrapped to prevent sun from hitting hair, leave on for a day.
