Locality:
Mt. Haupu, middle of the range N. of finger, trail up ridge behind maintenance sheds. Above weedy gulch on basalt.
Plant Description:
Single plant 2.5 ft. on cliff section of basalt. One stem w/ no leaves and old fruit. Foliage dull green, aromatic when crushed. Branches cascading, apex lifted, old dried leaves held below.
Habitat:
Disturbed lowland Windward Forest.
Associated Species:
Peperomia tetraphylla, Caesalpinia decapetala, Metrosideros, Bidens, Pilea, Dianella, Grevillea robusta, Euphorbia celastroides, Pisonia, Aleurites, Ficus, Psidium, Cordyline, Heliocarpus popayanensis, Spathodea campanulata, Blechnum appendiculatum, & Syzygium cumini.
