Plant Description:
On ridge, 7 ft. tall; side sprout collected and flw and leaves; flw and peduncles purple.
Habitat:
Disturbed Metrosideros-Dicranopteris lowland windward forest.
Associated Species:
Metrosideros canopy w/ Schiedea perlmanii, Blechnum, Nephrolepis, Panicum maximum, Syzygium cumnii, Psidium cattleianum, Waltheria, Andropogon, & Psydrax.
