Locality:
Kipu Kai, just North of Naluakeina, above drainage which leads to saddle pass.
Plant Description:
Shrubs, 40 cm, fully branched, leaves gray-silver, in early flower, common on vertical walls of lichen covered basalt, with Sida fallax, Dodonaea viscosa, Doryopteris decipiens, cuttings for NTBG.
Habitat:
Degraded secondary vegetation.
Associated Species:
Dominated by Aleurites moluccana, Schinus terebinthifolius, Psidium guajava, with Pisonia umbellifera, Metrosideros polymorpha, Pleomele aurea, Asplenium nidus, Nephrolepis exaltata, Psilotum nudum, Lepisorus thunbergianus, Phymatosorus scolopendria, Phlebodium aureum, & Blechnum appendiculatum.
