Plant Description:
Sparingly branched erect shrub, 2 m tall. Stems approximately 1-3 cm thick, swollen at nodes; internodes are as long as 12 cm on younger stems and as short as 3 cm on older stems. The coloring of the stems is dark purple with faint black spots. Leaves are large bright green and 15-20cm long. NTBG acc. # 990756.003.
