Slopes of Waiohookalo Stream valley (N Molokai); steep, rocky slopes. Elev. 100-180 m.
Plant Description:
Small tree to 6 m., flowers white, ripe fruit yellow, pink within. Common everywhere.
Associated Species:
with secondary forest of Psidium guajava, Syzygium malaccense, and native remnants including Diospyros sandwicensis, Metrosideros, and Nestegis, with understory of Kalanchoe pinnata and Zingiber zerumbet.
