Plant Description:
Small, vase-shaped tree of 10 ft.; petiole yellowish-green; leaves dark, glossy green above w/ yellowish-green midrib, below dull, pale green w/ yellowish-green midrib; sepals in bud, pale green tinged peach; open flowers: sepals whitish-green & peach in longitudinal halves; petals white; filaments whitish, anthers peach. Very slightly fragrant (8 am). Rec'd from the Latin American Forest Tree Seed Bank, Turrialba, Costa Rica.
