Plant Description:
Small trees 5-6 m X 6-8 cm., petioles red. Ramiflorous, the corolla and stamens deep pink. Locally common, naturalized.
Habitat:
Old secondary vegetation along flood plain.
Associated Species:
with Hibiscus tiliaceus, Psidium, & Syzygium.
