Plant Description:
An herb with green leaves above and paler green below. Inside of tuber bright orange. N.V. "Kisiniong [Pohnpeian]."
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Leaf: Flavoring. Soup. Take one or two leaves and put into your cooking soup. This will give taste to the soup.
Tuber: Ghost sickness. Pull up one or two tubers, clean it, pound and let the person who has ghost sickness smell it. This should help scare the evil spirit away. Just once when the sickness starts.
