Locality:
Hohoi village, at mouth of bay along coast.
Plant Description:
Trees 6-7 m with trunk 15-20 cm dbh, branches in few whorls, basal prop roots. Leaves keeled (small ones collected). Infructescence globose, fallen fruits basally orange, distally brown, fragrant. Localized population.
Habitat:
Littoral forest.
Associated Species:
With Thespesia populnea dominant, also Pandanus, and Ipomoea alba ground cover.
