Hwy 550 to Kokee from Waimea Town, West side of Hwy. in road-cut about 2 miles before junction of Rim Road and Kokee Road.
Plant Description:
Shrubs w/ cascading branches. Leaves elliptic to ovate glaucous, slightly fleshy. Fruits dark purple when ripe, w/ juice that stains fingers. Fruit pea-size, green when immature. NTBG acc. # 050377
Habitat:
Degraded Dodonaea Shrubland.
Associated Species:
W/ Leptecophylla, Lipochaeta connata, Eragrostis variabilis, Bidens sandwicensis, Doryopteris, Leucaena leucocephala, Grevillea robusta, Emilia, Rhyncelytrum repens, Hyptis, Sida fallax.
