Plant Description:
Stunted tree of 5 ft. Lvs leathery, glossy medium green above w/ yellowish midvein, below pale matte green w/ obvious reticulate veination; inflor erect, 5-6 fruit per peduncle; fruit ripening dk purplish w/ lighter green speckling; 8 seed/fruit.
Habitat:
Stunted lowland forest.
Associated Species:
Dominated by mix of Dicranopteris and Diplopterygium with scattered Metrosideros, Machaerina and Melastoma.
