Plant Description:
Older stems woody, newer red, white hairs at base of leaves. Petals white w/ purple margins, filaments pink, anthers yellow w/ pollen, stigma white 6 lobed. Forming mats. NTBG acc. # 060389.
Habitat:
Dry Coastal Schiedea verticillata – Panicum torridum – Rumex albescens codominant.
Associated Species:
W/ Chenopodium oahuense, Sicyos pachycarpus, Portulaca villosa, Solanum nelsonii, Eragrostis variabilis.
