Locality:
W. Maui, Iao Valley, tributary of Nakalaloa Stream. Near ravine bottom on rocky, shady, moderate slope.
Plant Description:
Single 2m tall tree w/ trunk 0.5m; spread of 2m; 24 leaves (3 unexpanded), 7 panicles of mostly immature fruit. Infructescence, and leaf blade (petiole, hastula and center of blade) submitted. 5 seedlings observed.
Habitat:
Lowland wet riparian forest.
