Plant Description:
Fronds to 3 ft., inflorescence erect, peduncle pale green overlain with scarlet; lowest bract pale green at base of keel becoming dark green at apex, face bright scarlet with upper margin of 3 bands of black, dark green, and finally pale green; base of keel of upper bracts more yellowish-green; inside of bracts greenish-yellow to pale yellow; floral bracts pale yellowish-green, flowers white at base with dark green apex.
Habitat:
Along roadside in secondary forest.
