Estacion Biologica Jatun Sacha. Between south bank of Rio Napo and road.
Plant Description:
Erect herb to ten ft, locally common; fronds to four ft long, dark dull green above, paler, glossy below; inflorescence erect, bracts dark pink at keel, becoming scarlet and finally orange-pink at tip.
Habitat:
Primary alluvial rain forest.
