Plant Description:
Pseudiostem pale yellowish green to green mottled brown to reddish brown, largely scabrous, somehwat shiny. Traces of whitish scurf from old leaf sheath. Leaf with zingiber-like configuration. Upper leaf surface medium green, lateral veins shiny; undersurface dull, pale olive green, lateral veins darker. Upper midrib shiny, light green; below same with burgundy stripe near base of blade, becoming indistinct near tip. Inflorescence terminal, erect. Peduncle pale green at base, flecked red, becoming solidly red at apex. No accession information available.
