Plant Description:
Stems erect, musoid, to 4 ft, with fronds3-4 ft long, dark glossy green above, w/ pale green midrib, below grey-green semi-glossy w/ yellow-green midrib and darker green lateral veins; sheath tinged maroon; inflorescence erect, bracts scarlet on face, upper margin w/ narrow dark red band, then narrow pale green band running to tip of bract; flowers white at base, becoming dark green with white apex.
