Plant Description:
Micronesia (wild collected, Malem, Kosrae, FSM). Shampoo ginger. Inflorescences large, robust, apices obtuse. Bracts hooked at apices. Copious amounts of soapy liquid. Stamen number variable: flowers in inflorescences with 1 to 3 stamens. NTBG acc. # 960807
