Locality:
Wahiawa Mts., Lihue-Koloa Forest Reserve, below Kapalaoa Peak, off a spur in the middle of the basin forming a bowl with the Hanapepe dividing ridge to the SW. In stream and semi-dry waterfall.
Plant Description:
Bud w/ indented apex. Flowers yellow-green. Plants decumbent to upright. Some purple color to injured leaves. Leaves med-green above w/ impressed midvein, below white-green w/ raised midvein. Stipules white w/ purple apex.

Montane Wet Metrosideros-Cheirodendron-Dicranopteris Forest.
