Perennial herb to three ft. Leaves dull green with glossy midvein above, glossy, paler below with whitish-green midvein; bracts yellow tinged green; tepals yellow with green apices; stamens five, filaments white; pedicel pale greenish-yellow; ovary bright glossy yellow.
