Shrub to 3m, dbh 3cm; leaves green. N.V. Dihng [Pohnpeian].
Ethnobotanical Notes:
'Apical meristem: Antidote. Take center part of the leaves from 2-4 plants, mash on rock, put in clot h. Squeeze the juice as soon as being wounded by stingray, use as long as needed. Said to take out p ison. Analgesic. Use as above. It is analgesic and helps the wound to heal. '
