Plant Description:
Sparsely branched shrub to 2 m tall, stems purple, leaves dark green, petioles and margins purple. Naturalized, common in understory.
Associated Species:
With Syzygium, Campnosperma, Astronidium, Elaeocarpus, Sphaeropteris, ground flora with numerous ferns.
