Plant Description:
Acaulescent herb forming dense clump, leaves distichous. Inflorescence axillary, flowers with white tepals and corona, tube green. Fruits green. Naturalized, locally common.
Habitat:
Marshy area with saturated soil and some standing fresh water.
Associated Species:
Ludwigia octovalvis, Kyllinga brfevifolia, Commelina diffusa, Eichhornia crassipes, Hymenocallis.
