Vaipae'e: behind a shack under a grove of Cocos nucifera some 30 yards from the seawall.
Plant Description:
Herbs, 75 cm tall with long strap-like leaves , thick, smooth up to 60 cm long, green turning white at the base where it clasps to the pseudo-stem; flower petals, 10 cm long , white; stamens 6 cm long, white turning green toward the middle, with corona uniting the stamens toward the bottom; anthers yellow.
