Locality:
Western edge of Omoa village, along Vaitopii rover near ocean and behind beach. Elevation ca. 2-5 m.
Plant Description:
Giant herb, pseudostem 1 m tall, tepals white, filaments purple. Collected from uprooted plant around garbage dump. Plants naturalized in coconut plantation.
Habitat:
Secondary vegetation along road, river, and coast.
Comments:
Specimen consists of two sheets (008506 & 008507).
