Plant Description:
6.5 ft. tall. Trunk 11” circumference. 15 leaves in crown, new leaves tomentose which dehisces with age, below leaf tan scales mostly obscuring the surface but allowing some green through, base of leaf with cotton brown tomentose, Inflorescence not branched. Petals fallen off flowers, 6 stamens, viscous drop in cup. NTBG acc. # 061266.

Metrosideros-Dicranopteris/Diplopterygium lowland wet forest.
