Plant Description:
Erect herb to four ft; leaves dark green above with faint sheen and reddish midvein, below glossy grey-green; inflorescence erect; peduncle and rachis dark orange; bracts scarlet with narrow green margin running to green apex; bracts within orange with scarlet and then green; flower white at base becoming dark green with white apex.
Habitat:
Secondary vegetation along roadside.
