Plant Description:
Fruits very large, oval with stout (8 cm) stalk deeply inserted into raised neck of elongated sections. Yellow green, relatively smooth with irregularly raised, flattened section. Immature fruits rough with hard, raised rounded sections. Yellow flesh with no latex when cut. No seeds. Large leaves moderately dissected with 2-4, mostly three pairs of lobes with slightly undulate margins and a very large tip. Dull brittle, smooth blade with yellow veins. No hairs on upper or lower veins. Tree ~15 m tall, planted 1930.

Ethnobotany: Cooks well. Processing of lemae is done on Saipan where breadfruit chips are processed and packaged for sale.
