Plant Description:
Fruits very large (up to 35 cm), ellipsoid with long stalk deeply inserted into open concavity. Very spiny with long, flexible, narrow, pointed sections. Pale yellow flesh, thin latex discolors green when cut. No seeds. Leaves moderaately dissected with 3-4 pairs of very close lobes with very undulate margins. Dull blade covered with many short hairs. Very few hairs on upper veins. Underside rough with many short hairs. Tree ~ 10 M.
