Plant Description:
Tree, 4 m tall, twisted trunk and entwined branching, occasional along ridge.
Habitat:
Relictual Kaua`i diverse mesic forest with secondary succession of invasive weeds.
Associated Species:
Associated with Metrosideros polymorpha var. glaberrima, Pleomele sandwicensis, Diospyros sandwicensis, Diospyros hillebrandii, Pouteria sandwicensis, Rauvolfia sandwicensis.
