Kalalau Valley. Eastern most sub-valley. On a ridge between the main stream and a side gulch.
Plant Description:
Vining up Guava. Whte sap. Dark purple fruits. Flowers light orange, calyx green. Leaves dull dark green below w/ obscure secondary veins and raised marginal vein. Adaxial leaf surface dark shinny green. 65 seed to NTBG Nursery Acc# 090228
Habitat:
Riparian forest dominated by Psidium guayava and Aleurites moluccana. Weedy ridge.
Associated Species:
Scattered Psydrax, Psidium guayava, Andropogon, Lobelia on stream wall and Pisonia in dry stream.
