Plant Description:
Common along stream; trunk of 2.5 ft; underside of pinnules porcelain, veins immersed; basal pinnules overlapping rachis; on older fronds scales only at base but with some scurf all along stipe that is easily knocked off by handling.
Habitat:
Almost undisturbed low elevation rain forest.
Associated Species:
Predominantly Metrosideros, Antidesma, Cibotium, and Dicranopteris.
Comments:
Specimen consists of four sheets (000511, 000506, 000507000508).
