Locality:
Road from Tahauku to airstrip going up plateau through secondary woods dominated by Eugenia cumini. Very common locally everywhere, here forming thicket above road.
Plant Description:
Shrub 2-3 m tall. Many were defoliated at end of October, but are putting out leaves and flowers. Flowers white; fruit from green to yellow, orange and bright clear red, someewhat translucent. Very palatable, at least for some plants.
