Lawai Valley, National Tropical Botanical Garden, seacliffs above W side of Lawai bay, off of fishermans trail.
Plant Description:
Clums erect, blades equitant, blue-green w/ older red-brn blades. Lingule w/ white ciliate. Racemes solitary w/ lower pink stamiante fruzzy spikelets, awns purple twisted together, nodding, most plants w/ fruit. NTBG acc. #040421
Habitat:
Costal Dry Shrubland.
Associated Species:
W/ Melinis repens, Leucaena leucocephala, Waltheria indica, Wikstroemia oahuensis, Grevillea robusta, Kalanchoe tubiflora, Furcraea foetida, Stachytarpheta, Casuarina equisetifolia.
