Kalalau Valley. Eastern most sub-valley. Toward the bottom of the valley about 30 min up trail from the beach and above main river. Lots of goat sign.
Plant Description:
Tree about 10 ft. tall. Few trees along trail. Seed from several trees. NTBG Acc# 090230. Lvs light green below, veins obscure. Above lvs dark shinny green w arching secondary venation. Fruits upright green to brown and dried. Bark whitish.
Habitat:
Weedy disturbed area under canopy of Aleurites moluccana.
Associated Species:
W/ Diospyros, Psidium guayava, Furcraea foetida.
