Plant Description:
Erect herbs about 5 ft tall. Lvs pinnately compound (3), achenes black curved to slightly coiled, wingless. Flws yellow on lateral branches. Plants scattered in area, some with prostrate branches. Some leaves w/ purple fungi spots.
Habitat:
Metrosideros – Dicranopteris Wet Lowland forest.
Associated Species:
W/ Melastoma candium, Tetraplasandra oahuensis, Hibiscus tiliaceous, Clidemia hirta var. hirta, Cordyline fruticosa.
Comments:
Specimen consists of two sheets (056231 & 056230).
