Kalalau. Just below the waterfall at the Western end of the beach growing on the basalt cliffs about 10 ft up on the cliff ledges on both sides of the stream.
Plant Description:
10 cuttings and seed sent to GH. NTBG Acc# 090231 Aromatic foliage. Leaves w/ silver hairs abaxially, med green w/ few hairs adaxially. Flowers yellow, calyx green. Multibranching, 1 ft tall. About 10 plants.
Habitat:
Weedy Coastal strand community.
Associated Species:
W/ Bidens pilosa, Nicotiana tabacum, Pluchea carolinensis, Thespesia populnea, Phoenix sp., Musa sp., Rivina humilis, Mirabilis sp., Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme.
