Plant Description:
with each interval ca. 20 cm.; leaf sheath from base to pinnae ca. 71 cm, 16 pairs pinnae per leaf. Lvs dark green & glabrous upper & lower surfaces; flwrs pistillate at infl bases, staminate near ends. Pistilate flwrs creamy yellow. Small, multiple trunked feather palm 4.6 m ht., DBH 10 cm., trunk with pronounced leaf scars appearance like "bamboo". NTBG # 881472. Tree grown from seed obtained from the Palm Society: Hawaiian Seed bank #88 PS 599 from southern Thailand.
