Tree grows up to 6m tall, leaf: straight and wide, green color on both sides, stem: white color, some parts at the top has a green color, flower: white and fruit is white too. N.V. Remek [Pohnpeian]
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Tuber. For babies. Keploal is done before babies eat other food. It means the baby needs to eat this before taking other kind of food, to encourage the bbay to eat a lot. Take the tuber clean it, put it in a pot, let it boil for a while or until cook well, cool and feed the baby. Just once that you have to let the baby to eat it but it shoulc be done bedore the baby take other food inside her mouth.
