Hakahau Valley: in the yard of a local resident in the main village.
Plant Description:
A tree, 15-16 m tall x 75 cm in diameter with spreading crown and low branching; bark smooth, grey; fruit yellow inside when ripe, immature fruit 14 cm x 10 cm , peduncle 7 cm. "Mei komako". Named after the native Thrush of the same name.
