Plant Description:
A tree, 12 m tall x 40 cm in diameter, bark dark grey; leaves, 3-4 lobed pairs with upper surface covered with pillose hairs, scabrous feel to the leaves; fruits ellipsoid-ovoid, 15-16 cm x 14 cm, base asymmetrical, surface pebbled, stigmas short, soft, when fruit is ripe turns brownish-yellow-green. "Mei ku'uha'a".
