Locality:
National Park of American Samoa, Saua site, transect from N entrance to Siu Point. Elev: 4-5 m.
Plant Description:
Tree 12 m x 26 cm dbh, latex white. Fallen fruit pale green, ellipsoidal, 10 x 6 cm, surface smooth with persistent stigmatic scars. Locally abundant, remnant from cultivation.
Specimen Treatment:
Specimen treated with 70% isopropanol
Habitat:
Young secondary coastal forest.
Associated Species:
Macaranga harveyana, Pipturus, Ficus scabra, Morinda citrifolia, and old agroforest with Artocarpus altilis.
