Plant Description:
Rhizomatous perennial herb, pseudostems to 1.5 m, lvs. distichous. Fruiting infl. w green bracts, capsules green, splitting, orange within, seeds w red-orange sarcotesta. Unaccessioned, origin unknown. Phytochemical voucher for Cari Pirone, FIU, Miami, FL.
