Plant Description:
Tree to 10 m, leaves glossy, fruits green, 4 cm across.

Ethnobotanical Notes:
fruit Used for torch oil. Make torch oil from the fruits. Also, the fruits can be lit to make a torch, - light fruits to make torch.
sap To make glue. The brown sap from the tree is used to make glue.
whole plant Erosion Control. Planted for shoreline erosion protection.
wood For canoes. Used to make canoes and for construction.
young leaves For asthma. Take 4 young leaves and crush them. Put in water. 1/2 gallon and drink upon asthma attacks, drink cold, keep drinking until attack is gone and also use as preventative - 1xweek in 1/2 gallon water.
