Weed grows up to 1 m tall, leaf: rough, light green color on both sides, stem: brown color, has thorns, seeds: green color when young, black color when ripe, flower: purple and yellow center. N.V. Rahndana [Pohnpeian]
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Stem. For killing cockroaches. Get a piece of the stem including the leaves, and place inside the house where cockroaches are found, replace it when it gets dry and repeat until no more cockroaches.
Associated Species:
Grows near seir (Cananga odorata), kamal (Pittosporum ferrugineum), and nihn (Ficus tinctoria).
