Plant Description:
Origin of tree unknown. No other tree of this type are found in Palau.
Fruits oval. Spiny with raised elongated, pointed flexible sections. Many large seeds. Male inflorescence and immature fruits on tree. Rotting and mummified fruits on ground. Many large seeds. Large, leatherly leaves shallowly to moderately dissected with 5-6 pairs of lobes with slightly undulate margins. Green blade with green veins. Very hirsute on all surfaces, including leaf sheath which is civered with dense, reddish hairs. Long white hairs on upper veins. Young
