Kolonia. Pohnpei Agriculture Station breadfruit collection. Tree 10. Located on right side of entrance road. To west of library along perimeter fence opposite Nihco Store.
Plant Description:
Fruits elongate (20-25 cm), slightly lumpy. Rough with hard raised points. No seeds. Fewer than 10 full-size fruits at top of tree. Large leaves, shallowly dissected with two-three pairs of lobes with slightly undulate margins. Smooth, dull blade with green-yellow veins. Many short- to medium-length white hairs on upper veins. Slightly appressed, short- to medium-length white hairs on lower veins interspersed with longer appressed reddish hairs. Large tree with buttressed trunk, diameter ~ 1.5 m, height ~ 19 m.
